OVERVIEW

This tour crosses the Douro wine region, taking you through mesmerizing sceneries with inspiring landscapes. Since the Roman occupation vineyards have been planted and the land has been worked to the known terraces of today’s UNESCO protected area. But more is to be found: little villages hanging from the slopes or the rock art engravings that from millennials are scattered in the countryside and are now available for visits.

The unique symbioses between the river and the terraces have shaped both land and man, into a culture that is deeply linked to this majestic river.
