Pyrenees Mountain Range

Hemingway’s Pamplona receives us and after a brief presentation we will travel to the first destination in the pre-Pyrenees, (Riglos) and transfer to Ayerbe. We will visit the Loarre Castle (the best preserved castle in Aragon). Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

The Mallos de Riglos are impressive geological formations that draw an amazing mountainous landscape and are a paradise for climbers. Its spectacular rocky landscapes welcome us for our walk today. We will visit the famous Ordesa National Park and Monte Perdido. Transfer to Torla. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast we travel to Santa Cruz de Serós and we will visit its 9th century church. We start walking along an old Jacobean path towards the Monastery of San Juan de la Peña. We visit the old monastery from the 9th century and climb the new one from the 18th century. We then return to our transport and head to Saint Engrace – France. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

The French Basque Pyrenees has landscapes of green meadows and deep canyons crossed by fast flowing rivers. Today the trail takes us over the Olhadubi and Holtzarte gorge, through the hanging bridges we cross the precipices of the mountains and walk along the paths of shepherds … Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

A day dedicated to caving, a unique 3-hour walk underground, where we will discover a a magical world. We will return to the light and walk to the bottom of the valley, and then onto the Kakoueta gorges, a special place. Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast we make the transfer to the city of Pamplona. Lunch and a free afternoon to enjoy the alleys and the local history of this beautiful town in the best way possible – on foot. Transfer to the airport and end of the tour.
