Following the coastline from Porto to Figueira da Foz, and later the meanders of the Mondego River towards Coimbra, the Portugal Silver Coast Cycling offers a superb route to discover the natural and cultural treasures of Central Portugal. Starting at Porto, a vibrant city full of history and cultural sites to unveil, the route follows the narrows streets of the old town towards the seaside. It then runs along the golden sandy beaches south of Porto all the way down to the São Jacinto Dune Natural Reserve at the mouth of the Ria de Aveiro.
