Welcome to Portugal! Our Guide will pick you up at the airport. Make your-self comfortable in the car while driving to the Hotel. If you have sometime one the first day, roam free in the city. We might suggest a riverside walk, fresh fish dinner or a visit to Port wine cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. The opportunities are endless and Porto is gorgeous.

Porto is a fantastic city full of life and culture. Take time to visit the Bolhão Market, just a few hundred meters from your hotel. Walk along the Pedestrian avenue of Santa Catarina for shopping. Or take a leap into medieval time visiting the UNESCO world site of the Ribeira by the river. Do not forgot to cross the Don Luis bridge both level as the sights changes from one another. If you still have time enjoy a glass of Porto Wine in one of the many Cel-lars, and reserve yourself for the hundred of steps up to the Cleri-go’s Tower, views are just….

Today save the morning for discovering the city of Porto. The old town, its granitic houses, monuments and narrow streets are ideal for a stroll. After you go Pinhão by train into a journey leading to the vineyards, from the Douro mouth on the Atlantic to the narrow valley slopes of the Wine region of the Douro. Here the slopes are monumental and the wine culture is pre-sent in every moment. The day ends at Pinhão where you rest in an old wine farm which awaits you with a welcome drink. Porto wine off course!

River Cruise (May to October) After a small transfer to Regua, you spend the day cruising the river back to Porto passing by some stunning locks 14 and 35m of descent at the dams. Appetizer and lunch (inc.) served on board while observing the views. Then once at Vila nova the Gaia pear, enter a wine cellar just across the street.
